Meet the Board of Directors
Hi everyone! I'm Kimberly and excited to serve as the President of MRM! Some of you may know me from my business Just Breathe Health and Wellness which has been in Minster for the past 10 years. I have an Associates Degree in Accounting (I am a licensed CPA), a BS In Psychology and Masters Degree in Human Services Counseling. I am a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Prenatal Yoga Teacher and in schooling for my Doctorate in Naturopathy.

It was during my interactions with expecting mom's in my yoga classes that I learned the importance of early prenatal care and the positive outcomes for healthy and happy babies! This inspired me to learn more and I became a Birth Doula. The more momma's I supported, the more I realized the need to educate mom's on their bodies, their power, and their ability to choose what is best for their birth. The maternal mortality rate in the U.S. is unacceptable as well as the amount of interventions in the birthing world and I experienced this firsthand as a doula. Soaking up all the knowledge I could to serve women, I trained as a Pre and Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist, Diastasis Recti and Core Consultant through Fit for Birth, and obtained certification as a HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator.

I am thrilled to be able to serve for this amazing organization
Our goal is to provide women the best pregnancy, birth, and postpartum services and education despite financial barriers!

Please help us grow by sharing our page and telling women about our services.
Hello! I'm Janelle a boy mom from Maria Stein! My husband and I have 4 awesome boys and enjoy all things involving sports and being outdoors! I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2011 and love what I do every day!
Our first boy, Jordy was born in 2018 after a very uncomplicated natural birth with my midwife at a fantastic healthy 9lbs 13oz. My pregnancy was exactly as one could hope for filled with prenatal yoga, massages, daily walks and naps whenever I needed! To this day he is still calm, cool and collected and I honestly believe it's because my pregnancy was the same way.
Our second son, Jalen came two years later in 2020 in the heart of COVID. This pregnancy was filled with a little more stress and uncertainty due to the pandemic and led to an induction because his heart rate was fluctuating a lot. I was still able to achieve a non-medicated delivery to our 9lbs 14oz sweetheart.
Two years later in 2022, I had a planned C-section with twin boys Joel and Julius because they were both in a transverse position. My pregnancy with them was a fantastic journey but definitely more taxing on my body and mind!
I experienced first hand the benefits of self care through yoga and massage and would love for every woman to experience it as well! Each of my pregnancies and deliveries were unique and I feel I can relate to many moms through my experiences!
Growing a community for women in all stages of motherhood is extremely important especially in the fast past, social media driven world we live in today. I truly hope to help women reclaim their position as a mother in best ways possible!
Anne - Originally from Rochester, NY, I first came to Ohio when I attended the University of Dayton. I majored in History, made great friendships, and met my now husband, Charlie. After living in Columbus for nearly 5 years, we decided to take a leap- quit our jobs and go travel Europe for almost 2 months. Upon returning home, Charlie accepted a new teaching position in Fort Recovery and this began our new adventure.
We moved to Coldwater in fall of 2019 and I found a dream job working at The Bicycle Museum in New Bremen. A few months later our world looked very different, I was newly pregnant in February 2020 and shortly after the pandemic quickly took hold of the "new normal."
Navigating this new landscape as a first time mom in a brand new town without any friends or family close by was a challenge. On top of this, my goal of having a natural birth was turned upside down, literally, when my son remained breech and I was forced into a c-section. This experience completely changed me and I became determined to have one day have the natural birth of my dreams.
When my first son turned 1, I found out I was pregnant for the second time. I immediately reached out to every midwife I could find in my desire to have a homebirth vbac. I found 1 willing to take me on and the care those 2 midwives provided was night and day different than my care from the traditional medical route, which so many women experience. I grew to trust my body, my baby and my instincts.
On August 20th, 2022 I woke up with mild cramps, and walked to the playground with my toddler and husband. We came home and my husband cooked lots of food and cleaned up, while my son and I baked an apple pie, all the while my cramps growing stronger. By evening they were becoming more intense and I told my midwives and my doula, Kimberly Oen that this baby was coming tonight. I reached transition around 11pm, labored mostly in the shower, my water breaking around 1am, and by 2am my body began pushing. With my midwives almost an hour and a half away, they were on the way, but my baby was coming quickly. At 3am the midwives arrived as I was riding the fetal ejection wave with Kim and Charlie watching on. At 3:13am my second son popped out in one push, pink and crying and perfect. Afterwards I sat in an herbal bath enjoying a slice of some fresh apple pie while my husband held our new baby boy.
The birth of my second son was so healing and amazing, I want every woman to experience an empowering birth. I feel that pregnancy and birth is our superpower and something not to be feared, but celebrated and embraced. I hope to help more women learn their power and grow this community of motherhood.
